Basics
- No pocket money: every franc is earned. Whoever has a food allowance gets it on top for the canteen subscription; whoever has none pays for lunch out of what they earn.
- All money flows through the list only. Same for every child.
- Weekly settlement (Mon–Sun), settled and paid out on Sunday at 22:00. Weekly reset, no debt, no catching up.
- Not done → not paid. No renegotiation. Acceptance by visual check by the parents.
- Positions are voluntary and add up – except the weekly duties, which have to be done every week.
- Positions count at most once per day per household (e.g. dishwasher): once someone did it, nobody else can book it that day.
- If the rules are not met (no positions), board money of CHF 300 per month applies.
- Sanction (agreement broken): for two weeks from the event only 50 % of the payout; grades, reimbursements and the food allowance are excluded, and it applies only to the person concerned. On top there are time-limited restrictions (e.g. no phone) that cost no money.
- Photos must be fresh: capture time (from the photo) and location (from the phone) are stored and shown; old photos are flagged.
Weekly plan
- Everyone signs up for what they want to do and when.
- Whoever plans a week ahead (entry before the week starts) gets +10 % on the positions done that way.
- Withdrawing your own entry: more than 48 h before the day is free, the day before costs 50 % of the amount, the same day 100 % – even if the job is done after all. Entries removed by the parents cost nothing.
- Planned and not done that day: the same amount is deducted (down to 0, no debt).
- Completeness bonus: all your own weekly duties done → CHF 5.00.
Cooking
- Up to 7 meals per person per week. Breakfast/brunch, lunch and dinner each have one place per day. One person may cook several meals on the same day, or different people can share the day. the parents can reassign slots. Parent slots are unpaid.
- Only “properly cooked” counts: a real meal, at least one fresh component, for everyone present, groceries agreed or bought yourself, kitchen and table clean afterwards.
- Choose when cooking: breakfast/brunch, lunch by 13:00 or dinner by 19:00. Lunch and dinner must be ready by the selected time; agree any exception beforehand.
- Reheating self-cooked food as a proper meal counts. Convenience food (ready meals, frozen pizza etc.) does not.
- Approval: vote, 2 approvals.
- Half done = CHF 0.
- Kitchen/table thorough is part of cooking and cannot be booked additionally on your own cooking day.
- Something used for yourself and not cleaned: request with photo and a deadline set per request type (kitchen: ideally earlier when the next person wants to cook). Cleaned in time = no deduction, but no money either – clearing your own things is not a position. Otherwise a deduction as in the table "Clean-up requests" below; the deduction lapses and is credited to nobody.
Clean-up requests
Cleaned in time and reported with a photo = no deduction, but no money either. Otherwise the deduction of the type applies; it lapses and is credited to nobody.
